I officially started my design career at Richardson Sports in 2015 as an artworker; primarily creating mockups of client designs on vectors of headwear and adapting those designs to work best for embroidery, patches, and heat transfers. Richardson fostered my passion for custom apparel and brand design and by the end of 2016 I was a senior member of the art department – honing the company’s brand identity, creating graphic apparel, and designing custom headwear for high-profile retail clients like Wilson, Evoshield, and various collegiate accounts.

We produced multiple catalogs each year showcasing products across all facets of the brand

Big moments call for slick headwear

I designed this custom high-crown trucker for Wilson’s 2019 MLB all-star game promotion in Cleveland, Ohio. The badge speaks to the city’s rock n’ roll culture, featuring a guitar pick with an Ohio flag-inspired fill.

Evoshield got in on the big-game cap action with this custom lid for the 2019 College World Series in Omaha

Featuring custom-designed badges on the front and side panels, a screen-printed undervisor, and arched wordmark above the snap-back closure, this cap headlined the Evoshield offerings at the Omaha Baseball Village. The folks at Evoshield elected to use both badges on graphic tees as well.
